I have always loved to hunt and fish since I was young and have had a great time introducing my son to the outdoors. I started with a Zebco 202 rod/reel combo and over the years worked my way up to more expensive equipment, with my garage looking like the fishing section of the local outdoor store. I started designing and creating custom rods several years ago as a way to relax and destress away from my career as a Physician Assistant. I really love making custom rods along with being able to give someone a great handmade gift. With our lives getting close to becoming "empty nesters" I felt making my indoor hobby a small business would be a great idea.
